Mikuni VM36 carburettor for SR500

Boost the potential of your Yamaha SR500 with the MIKUNI VM36, an efficient and cost-effective alternative to the original carburettor. With a passage of 36mm, this carburettor delivers a noticeable increase in performance across the entire rev range.

Robust design: Centrally operated above the round slide by a single opener throttle cable, the VM36 offers reliable and easy handling.

With our specially developed adapter ring, the carburettor can be easily fitted to the original 48T air filter box of the SR500 from 1984 onwards. For trouble-free installation in 2J4 models, we recommend converting to a 48T air filter box.

When using an original petrol tap, an intake manifold with vacuum connection is required, or alternatively a petrol tap without vacuum control.
 
Note on registration:
For vehicles with first registration up to December 1988, the MIKUNI VM36 can usually be registered via individual approval. Please clarify the details with your local MOT in advance to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
