If you are not sure of the gear ratio of your motorbike, you can find out for yourself whether this instrument will indicate the speed correctly.
The K-value can be determined as follows: Measure the circumference of the wheel (using a tape measure or by rolling it). Unscrew the shaft from the speedometer. Make 10 revolutions with the wheel, counting the revolutions of the square edge that is now visible.
Calculation: K=10 x number of revolutions of the square divided by the circumference of the wheel in cm. Round the result to one decimal place (there are actually only tachometers with the K values 1.0 and 1.4).
