With our brake conversion kit, you can bring your SR up to a braking level that is on a par with modern motorcycles with more weight and more power

Our adapters allow the brake to be fitted on both the left and right side of the vehicle, only the selected brake calliper determines the side of the vehicle

You need the brake caliper (83mm mounting distance on the dip tube) of a Yamaha MT-03 660cc, FZ-6 2004-2006 or XJ-6 from 2009 or later. These are easy and inexpensive to purchase as second-hand parts (for spare parts and brake pads for refurbishing such a brake caliper, see related products)

A huge floating brake disk with 320mm diameter as it was installed on the Yamaha SZR660 and FZR1000 is used to complete this setup.T hese brake discs should also be available as second-hand parts. Alternatively we stock new parts from TRW and Brembo (see item no. 50651 and 41975)

The KEDO brake conversion kit is suitable for all SR500 with both spoked and cast wheels - two different adapter plates are included for the different thickness of the brake calliper mounts on the 2J4 and 48T dip tubes

The brake system can be designed as a single or double disc system, our kit may be required twice
