• The XT250 has no frame downtube, so the engine guard is particularly stressed and the engine housing is at risk.
• In contrast to the thin-walled original part, the HD engine guard is absolutely dimensionally stable even in tough off-road use thanks to its welded structure and high side walls
• Practical thanks to the smooth underside - less likely to get caught on contact.
• Easy to maintain thanks to quick attachment and removal with one screw: makes it easier to clean after muddy off-road use or to change the oil.
• Welded from 4 mm thick aluminum using traditional craftsmanship. Made in Germany, not a mass-produced product.
• The complete engine guard is plastic-coated.
• The rear mounting plate offers optimum force distribution on the main frame thanks to its large contact surface.
• Fitting tip: the rear adapter plate should rest on its entire surface. For this purpose, the slightly protruding welding beads between the original engine guard mounts and the frame cross tube on some XTs can be straightened.
