  All engine covers in the ViRace series are our own designs from recent years. The ribbed, enlarged surface allows more heat to be dissipated, thus reducing the engine temperature. The design and appearance of each cover has been adapted to the cooling fins of the cylinder. All cooling fins are aligned with each other and run parallel to the cylinder. As a result, ViRace covers look as if they were designed by YAMAHA as standard. This perfect impression is further enhanced by the chosen production method, as all ViRace covers are manufactured using the die-casting process (just like the original covers) and polished to a matt-gloss (“classic”) finish. The polished lids are not sealed with clear lacquer so that they do not yellow and can be polished up again and again.
