This brake conversion kit also brings your SR up to a braking level that is comparable to modern motorbikes with more weight and more power
Our adapters allow the brake to be fitted on both the left and right side of the vehicle, only the selected brake caliper determines the vehicle side
You need the brake caliper (83mm mounting distance on the immersion tube) of a Yamaha MT-03 660, FZ-6 2004-2006, XJ-6 from 2009 or XJ900 Diversion, These are easy and inexpensive to purchase on the second-hand market (for spare parts and brake pads for refurbishing such a brake caliper, see related articles)
The original brake disc is used as the brake disc
The KEDO brake conversion kit is suitable for all SR500s with spoke and cast wheels - two different adapter plates are included for the different thickness of the brake caliper mounts on the dip tube for 2J4 and 48T
The brake system can be designed as a single or double disc system, our kit may be required twice.
